  • On February 13, 2023, the Accreditation Council for CAEP granted Probationary Accreditation for ARC due to the need for growth in Standard 4. CAEP will return to ARC in the fall of 2024 to gather evidence of improvements of stipulations cited.

  • While on probation, ARC is still permitted to conduct its program and prepare ARC candidates for certification, however it cannot offer any new certification areas until ARC meets proficiency in all areas.

  • Our programs will be reviewed again in 2025 by the CSDE and CBOE. ARC’s initial level programs were rated on the probationary level by the CSDE and granted Probationary Accreditation on September 6th, 2023 by the Connecticut Board of Education. Probationary Accreditation is granted when the Accreditation Council determines that an educator preparation provider (EPP) does not meet one (1) of the CAEP standards.
