Use this search to learn what programs or fields of study are approved for veterans education benefits at a particular college, university, occupational school, high school, vocational-technical school, hospital, cosmetology, adult education center or other training school.

 

• Degree Completions Data - Degree completions database (1981/82-2016/17)

This database contains all of the collegiate degrees conferred in Connecticut for the academic years specified above for approved programs. You may use this search engine to produce a degrees conferred report that contains the following information: Institution name, CIP number, Program Name, Degree Type, Grand Total, Total Men, Total Women, Total Minorities, Total Non-minorities, total for page and total for the query. By checking the detail box, the report also will break down degrees conferred by ethnic group.

 

This database is compiled from data furnished by the institutions as part of the annual data collection process for the US Department of Education's Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS).  Most recent year's data is subject to change. 

 

This database is grouped into 3 separate datasets:

• Completions by 2 digit CIP code with Racial & Ethnic characteristics for 1982-1983 school year and beyond.

• Completions by Program Name & 6 digit CIP code with Gender characteristics (no Racial or Ethnic characteristics) for 1981-1982 school year and beyond.

• Completions by Program Name & 6 digit CIP code with Gender and Racial & Ethnic characteristics for 1994-1995 school year and beyond.

 

• Full-Time Equivalency Enrollment Data - CT Collegiate Enrollments (1980/81-2016/17) (Headcount and F.T.E.)

This database contains headcount and full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollments for all Connecticut institutions of higher education. You may use this search engine to produce an enrollment report that contains the following information: Institution name, College Type and Total Enrollment for Year. It is possible to select headcount enrollment or full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollment or both headcount and FTE for one year, a selection of years, or for all years in the database.

 

This database is compiled from data furnished by Connecticut institutions as part of the annual DHE/OHE/IPEDS data collection process. Most of the data collected is required by the US Department of Education's Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS).

 

The headcount enrollment data is furnished by institutions as part of the data collection process. While the full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollment data is based on enrollment and credit hour data furnished by the institution, it is calculated by the Office of Higher Education. Admittedly, such a calculation might differ from the individual institution's own calculation, but it does provide consistency between institutions.

 

• Collegiate Enrollment Data - CT Collegiate Enrollment (1990/91-2016/17) (Ethnic breakdown)

This database contains headcount enrollments for all Connecticut institutions of higher education. You may use this search engine to produce an enrollment report that contains the following information: Institution name, Student Classification, Grand Total, Total Men, Total Women, Total Minorities, Total Non-minorities. The report will also break down enrollment by ethnic group.

 

This database is compiled from data furnished by the institutions as part of the annual data collection process for the US Department of Education's Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS).
